Honey bees by the stream edge?

I watched these honey bees earlier, they were down by the waters edge crawling all over the gravel as if they were seeking something?

what on earth were they doing???Honey bees by the stream edge?
they are drinking water, they try not to go to the edge of the water instead they seek moist latent soilHoney bees by the stream edge?
Maybe they were dying. In America our bees are dying off and scientists are trying to figure out why. If the problem is not fixed it could spell disaster for farming and food production because bees are vital to nature's delicate balance. Take away the bees and it is like throwing a wrench in nature's machine.
they are probably being driven mad by cellular signals.
