What is the result of the bee language experiment?

karl von frisch's experiment..

why is it important? any impacts on zoology..??What is the result of the bee language experiment?
Well, it won him a Nobel Prize, so apparently it was important.

In the big scheme, it changed our view of animals lives by making it clear that even invertebrates were capable of sophisticated communication and learning. This has opened up all kinds of fields of study over the years - into insect communication, hormones, learning processes, and even pest control.

Given the enormous importance of bees to our food supply, and the fact that they suddenly seem to be dying off, his work may well continue to be relevant and inspiring.
