I live on the east coast (not near the water). In the last two years, I have seen the biggest bees in my life. Their bodies appear to be the size of my thumb - the bee is perhaps a little bit smaller than a cicada, but much more calculated and scary. What kind of bee might this be and how common is it? The Can kill you if no Medical Help. They Are Black and Yellow. They Can Get up to 2inches. So watch out for these bees!
