The importance of bees?

what is the importance of bees? If bees were to become extinct what are possible repercussions? The importance of bees?
Close your eyes and imagine this: no flowers, no fruits, and few trees. The world has lost more than 60% of all its vegetation. No more honey or beeswax. The amount of animals has decreased by 20%. This is because bees pollinate many flowers and plants, and, if they die from lack of pollination, animals that eat them will become extinct, too. Then, the animals that eat those herbivores will die, and all it keeps going. Soil is eroded away due to the lack of roots to hold it in place, and there are very few fruits or vegetables left. Without bees, the world will be in chaos. The importance of bees?
Bees help pollinate around 70% of all the crops on the planet. If all the bees die and nothing rises to replace them (another type of insect, for example, or serious human intervention), many plants will simply die-off due to lack of pollination. 70% of the plants on the planet die.
