How do get the swelling down on your foot, if you have stepped on a bee?

I do not have an allergy to honey bee stings, but this time my foot has swollen. I think maybe it might have been a yellow jacket and not a honey bee,

Thanks for all your helpHow do get the swelling down on your foot, if you have stepped on a bee?
Take an anti-histamine.How do get the swelling down on your foot, if you have stepped on a bee?
If stung by a bee, use the edge of a credit card to scrape the stinger out of the skin.

Do not use tweezers because you might squeeze more venom into the affected area.

Use soap and water to thoroughly clean the affected area.

To keep down swelling use a cold wash cloth or cold pak for ten minutes on, ten minutes off, and repeat this process.

Take a antihistamine or apply creams that reduce itching if necessary.

Watch for signs of infection such as, increased swelling, redness or pain.GOOD LUCK!
