What if you don't know if the stinger by a bee is still in your skin?

Because I'm not sure if the stinger is in my skin.

The area where the bee stung me has a white/Grey spot in the middle of the area where the bee stung me.What if you don't know if the stinger by a bee is still in your skin?
A bee stinger is highly visible. Sounds more like the site of sting is irritated. You can purchase various products to soothe the sting. If you start swelling call emergency immediately. My family uses fresh honey on stings. It counteracts the poisons and soothes. But this does not work for everyone.

You might want to see professional advice. If you have not had a tetanus shot recently you might want to do that as well.

If you see the stinger, scrape it away using a credit card, license, etc. Don't squeeze at it or pick at it, because if the stinger is still there, it could actually inject more of the venom into your skin.

If the stinger is not there (previous posters seem to think that it's out) then wash the site of the sting, use peroxide of something to clean it out, then apply a bandage with antibiotic cream. That should help prevent from infection and also sooth the site. My grandmother, when I got stung by bees, used to mix baking soda and water and rub it onto the site, and it helps cool the burning.

Also, I'm not sure how long ago you got stung by the bee, but if it was recently and you start to swell up, consult your doctor.
You can usually scrape a bee sting from your skin gently with your fingernail. Sounds as though you have got it out. Mix some bicarbonate of soda with a little water and put the paste over the sting site.
